About Us
The Mathulini Communal Property Association (CPA) is a land-holding legal entty estatfishes in terms of the CPA Act no.28 of 1996, after a successful land Claim lodged with the Regional Land Claims Commission in 1998 on behalf the Mathulini Tribe under Inkosi Bhekizizws Nivard Luthuli.
Upon the succesfull settlement of the land claim in the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform registered the Mathulini Communal Property Association as a legal entity in
2012.
SOCIAL INVESTMENT
We invest in people, not just projects. Through education, skills development, healthcare, and infrastructure support, our goal is to build stronger, more resilient communities that thrive together.
Bursary and learner support
Number of Students Awarded Bursaries is 5. The Bursary Amount per Student is R100,000.00 per year. This amount covers tuition, accommodation, and pocket money for the duration of their studies.
Skills Development Programs
Cooking and Driver’s License and Heavy-Duty Training to equip community members with practical culinary and driving skills, promoting self-reliance and expanding employment opportunities.
Training
In 2025, Mathulini CPA will advance community growth through the Mathysen Infrastructure Project and expand educational programs, including sewing and fashion design, giving students the opportunity to gain valuable skills in the fashion industry.

Official office opening
We have officially moved to our new office space. Just up the road from the Mathulini Tribal court (before INkosi Luthuli residence).
